1 Important Safety Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance, and save it for future reference. ? Keep out of direct sunlight. ? The adaptor for this appliance shouldn'

t be used for any other products. Danger ? Do not let water or any other liquid or ammable detergent enter the appliance to avoid electric shock and/or a re hazard. ? Do not clean the appliance with water, any other liquid, or a ( ammable) detergent to avoid electric shock and/or a re hazard. ? Do not spray any ammable materials such as insecticides or fragrance around the appliance. ? Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before cleaning. ? Keep the cord out of heavy tra c areas. To avoid a re hazard never put the cord under rugs or near heat vents. Warning ? Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. For assistance, contact Consumer Care Centre in your country, go to your local Philips dealer. ? Only use the power supply unit provided with the appliance. ? If the power cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Philips, a service center authorized by Philips, or similarly quali ed persons in order to avoid a hazard. ? When transporting, be careful not to drop the appliance or subject it to shocks. Continued usage as such could lead to re or electric shock.

This appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. ? This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the air monitor. ? Do not cover the appliance or block the air inlets. ? To disconnect, press the power button to switch o the appliance, then remove the plug from the electrical outlet. ? DO NOT use outdoors. For indoor use only. ? Charge, use and store the appliance in a place where temperature is between 5°C to 35°C. Caution ? A loose t between the AC outlet (receptacle) and plug may cause overheating and a distortion of the appliance plug. Contact a quali ed electrician to replace loose or worn outlet. ? Avoid knocking any parts of the appliance with hard objects. ? Do not ll water from the air inlets on top of the appliance. ? Always place and use the appliance on a dry, stable, level, and horizontal surface or hang on the wall. ? Do not place anything around the appliance nor sit on it. ? Do not place the appliance directly below an air conditioner to prevent condensation from dripping onto the appliance, or incorrect sensor readings from the cold air coming out of the air conditioner. ? Place the appliance properly to prevent children from knocking it over or tripping on the power cord. ? Do not insert your ngers or objects into the air inlet. ? Do not use the appliance near gas appliance, heating devices, or replaces. ? Always unplug and switch o the appliance after use and before you clean it.
