The funding provided to Kendal Leisure Centre includes a contribution to both the swimming pool and also the other 'dry side' facilities. 2. Funding for the Richard Rose (West) Academy goes to Carlisle Leisure Ltd who manage the facility. 3. Funding for the West Lakes Academy goes to the Egremont & District Pool Trust who manage the facility. 4. Funding contributions to Longtown Lochinvar School Pool ceased in 2008-09 following the closure of the School and Pool. 5. Grants are provided to 'disadvantaged' community groups through the Community Swimming Grants to allow for the purchase of pool time at a number of other swimming pools across the county. 6. Wigton Swimming Pool is owned and operated by CCC and as such other sonsiderable amounts of CCC funding is spent each year on repairs, improvements and maintenance.
