utente System Requirements ? At least one VGA, SVGA, XGA, SXGA or Multisync monitor capable of the highest display resolution to be used on the computer.

This product is not suitable for CGA, EGA, or MONO type monitors that use digital video signals. ? If you connect a DDC type monitor to Video Output Port 1, all other monitors must be able to support the highest resolution that the DDC monitor can provide. ? A high density VGA video extender cable with HDB-15 male-to-female connectors to connect the video output port on the computer to the video input port on the Video Splitter. ? A 3.5mm mini stereo male-to-male audio cable to connect the audio output jack on the computer to the audio input port on the Video Splitter. Hardware Overview VS-0116 Front View VS-0116 Rear View Hardware Installation Important: ? Ensure that all equipment to be connected is powered off before beginning. ? To prevent damage to your installation, ensure that all devices are properly grounded. ? Use high density VGA video extender cables with HDB-15 male-to-female connectors to connect the video output port on the computer to the Video Input Port on the Video Splitter. ? Power on the computer and monitors only after following the numbered steps on the diagram and powering on the Video Splitter. Single Stage Installation Setting up the Video Splitter is simply a matter of plugging in the cables. Refer to the installation diagram A (the numbers in the diagram correspond to the numbered steps) and do the following: 1. Use a high density HDB-15 male/female VGA cable to connect the computer'

s video port to the video input port on the VS-0116. 2. Use a male/male audio cable to connect the computer'

s speaker port to the audio input port on the VS-0116. 3. Connect a monitor to any available video output port on the VS-0116. 4. Connect speakers to the audio output port that corresponds to the video output port you connected in step 3. Note: Repeat steps

4 for any other ports you wish to set up. 5. Plug the power adapter that came with the VS-0116 into an AC power source, then plug the power adapter cable into the splitter'

s Power Jack. 6. Power on the attached equipment. Cascading To provide video display to additional monitors, additional video splitters can be cascaded down from the VS-0116'

s video output ports. (refer to diagram B) Cascading additional Video Splitters involves the following six steps. Refer to the installation diagram on the next page (the numbers in the diagram correspond to the numbered steps) and do the following: 1. Use a high density HDB-15 male/female VGA cable (Part No.2L-2401) to connect a video output port on the parent video splitter to the video input port on the child VS-0116. 2. Use a male/male audio cable to connect an audio output port on the parent video splitter to an audio input port on the child VS-0116. 3. Connect a monitor to any available video output port on the child VS-0116. 4. Connect speakers to the audio output port that corresponds to the video output port you connected to in step 3. Note: Repeat steps

4 for any other video splitter(s) you wish to cascade. 5. Plug the power adapter(s) that came with the VS-0116(s) into an AC power source, then plug the power adapter cable(s) into the splitter'
