Exam Structure ? Examinable Instruments Guzheng | Erhu | Dizi | Pipa | Ruan | Yangqin | Liuqin | Suona | Sheng | Percussion (Snare Drum) ? Exam Grades The Graded Exam consists of Grades

1 to

9 and Diploma * (a total of

10 grades). *There is no Diploma grade for Percussion ? Diploma Grade candidates: Candidates registering for the Diploma examination are required to attach a photocopy of their Grade

9 certificate jointly issued by NAFA and CCOM for verification.

2 Exam Requirements ? The exam requirements consist of performing the music pieces below for Grades

1 to

9 and Diploma Level. There will be no Aural or Sight-reading tests and no accompaniment is needed. a)

1 Technical Study Music Piece b)

2 Solo Music Pieces (Due to time constraints, examiners may decide to select passages within the examinable piece to access the skills of the candidates) *Candidates below age

18 are required to perform

1 technical study piece and

2 solo pieces from memory. *Candidates aged

18 and above can choose to perform the above repertoire with or without scores during the examination. Exam Syllabus ? All scores must be selected from the official CCOM Examination Syllabus (Overseas Version). Syllabus sample details may be found at www.nafa.edu.sg/NAFA-CCOM. No alternative versions or photocopies of scores will be allowed. ? Actual exam syllabus must be shown at the exam attendance counter during actual exam as proof, failure to produce the certified exam syllabus during Exam Registration may result in disqualification from the graded exam. ?
