考察团成员包括英国伯明翰市政府、英国什罗普郡政府、英国什鲁斯伯利市政府、英国西米德兰地区商会、英国什鲁斯伯利市商会、英国汽车工业协会、英国工商总局、英国驻上海总领事馆、英国再制造协会等英国政府机构,以及部分英国汽车零部件企业CEO、BBC媒体以及瑞沃公司人员等. In order to promote the cultural exchange between Changshu and Shrewsbury and enhance the cooperation between Changshu Economic & Technological Development Zone in terms of automobile industry development, we sincerely invite the British delegation to visit Changshu for business investigation from March 24,

2014 to March 28, 2014. The delegation will comprise of British government agencies such as Birmingham government, Shropshire County government, Shrewsbury government, chamber of commerce in the west midlands , chamber of commerce in Shrewsbury, SMMT, DTI, the Consulate General of UK in Shanghai, FER, MP, several UK auto parts enterprises, BBC and Reve company. 此次考察团主要目的为考察常熟城市风貌及风土人情,洽谈什鲁斯伯利市和常熟市缔结友好城市相关事宜,洽谈在常熟经济技术开发区成立英国工业园区事宜,及推动英国相关汽车零部件企业与奇瑞、捷豹路虎、吉利等中国汽车制造企业的业务合作. The main purpose of the Uk delegation is to inspect the landscapes and customs of Changshu, to negotiate the issue related to make friendship city between Changshu and Shrewsbury, to discuss the issue related to the establishment of the UK Industry Park in CEDZ, and promote business cooperation between between UK auto parts companies with Chery Jaguar Land Rover and Gelly. 衷心期盼英国考察团3月来常熟考察,相信此次考察将会取得卓有成效的成果.
