课文注释: Tourism and travel: Many people like to go on holiday abroad nowadays. In Europe, most people go away for a few weeks in the summer. They usually go away to a country which is warm and sunny, and where they can go swimming,,

for example, Thailand or Malaysia. Many English people like to go to Spain or Portugal, because it is nearer, and therefore, not so expensive. In the winter, people like to go to winter resorts in France or Italy where they can go skiing and enjoy good food and wine. The more adventurous people go further, and a lot of travel agents are now advertising trips in Africa or India, or trips to remote places like Kathmandu or Tibet. If you don't want to travel on your own, you can to on a "package holiday", a holiday for a certain number of days, where you go a group of people, and everything is arranged in advance --- meals, trips, evening entertainment, etc. Cheap day excursions: Day excursions are trips which are usually quite cheap lasting for only one day. For example, people from England often go to France for a day excursion. Such trips are usually filled up, therefore, cheap. There are also day excursions to other places, such as to the countryside, to a near seaside or mountainous area. 教学目的: 了解说明文的文体特点 学习写这种文体的summary 视听说能力综合训练 教法建议: 先学习课文:录音、ppt演示和讲解同时进行.要注意启发学生自己去总结说明文的文体特点.
