As such, this device achieves the same order of range as consumer grade WiFi, but for the same order of power consumption of Bluetooth Low Energy. The resulting link budget allows for wide coverage, with no requirement for the external power amplifiers that current solutions require. The product resulting from this technology therefore has an unfair advantage over its competitors, and is totally new. The device is fully qualified for industrial and consumer use. Innovation and Partnership Through China Catalyst, Cascoda Ltd aims to develop innovative Internet of Things solutions through partnerships with Chinese wireless systems manufacturers, wireless module manufacturers and distributors of electronic devices and systems.
