(7)删繁从简,采用简明的表达方式,取消不必要的字句及修饰.如用increased 代替 has been found to increase;

用the results show 代替 from the experimental results, it can be concluded that;

用at 250-300 ℃ 代替 at a temperature of

250 ℃ to

300 ℃;

用kg 代替kilogram. (8)避免使用那些既不说明问题,又没有任何含意的短语.如 specially designed or formulated , In this paper , It is reported … , Extensive investigations show that… , The author discusses … , This pap........
