1996 Powel AS spun off from EFI, the Norwegian Electric Power Research Institute, a part of the SINTEF Group. From the beginning we have realised significant and sustainable growth. Several strategic acquisitions have broadened our field of expertise. The number of employees has grown from

From the beginning our main focus has been to create solutions that control and optimise hydropower production and smart grid network information systems.
