This paper, entitled "Repro&ucibility of Keyhole Charpy and Tear-Test Data on Laboratory Heats of Semiskilled Steel" by R. H. Frazier, J. '{~.Spretnak and F. M. Boulger, constitutes Part I of the attached report, SSC-83, the progress report on the project. Part II of the report describes the results of later calcula- tions. The project is being conducted with the advisory assistance of the Committee on Ship Steel of"' the National Academy of Sciences-National Research Council. Comments concerning this report m'fi solicited and should be addressed to the Secretary- Ship Structure Committee.
