4 Summary There are various reasons why people write poetry. Some poems tell a story or describe something. Others try to 1.certain emotions. Some of the first poetry a child learns in English is 2.3.The poems may not make sense and even seem 4.but they are easy to learn and recite. List poems are poems that list things.
