Recently, China Securities Regulatory Commission issued the Reply Letter in Relation to the Approval of CITIC Securities International Company Limited for RQFII Qualification (Zheng Jian Xu Ke [2011] No.2073, "Approval"), authorizing CITIC Securities International Company Limited ("CSI"), the wholly-owned subsidiary of CITIC Securities Company Limited (the "Company"), the qualification as a RMB Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor ("RQFII"). Pursuant to the Approval, CSI will launch its RQFII business through its subsidiary, CITIC Securities International Investment Management (HK) Limited ("CSI Investment Management"), which is licensed for asset management business by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong. CSI and CSI Investment Management will comply with the relevant regulations, fulfil the obligations and assume the responsibilities according to the applicable laws when commencing this business.
