1 - 引言Introduction 1. 食肆收益及购货额统计?字是从「食肆的收入及购货额按季统计调查」搜 集的?嘀,用???消费者在香港餐饮服务的消费水平及趋势.1. The Quarterly Survey of Restaurant Receipts and Purchases (QSR) collects data for compiling restaurant receipts and purchases statistics, for gauging the level and trend of consumer spending on catering services in Hong Kong. 2. 食肆的分?是采用「香港标准?业分?」.该?业分?用於各经济统计调查,把经济单位拨归?同的?业?别.本报告内把香港所有食肆归纳为五个主要?别,包括s(i) 中式餐馆;

(ii) 非中式餐馆;

(iii) 快餐店;

(iv) 酒吧;

以及(v) 其他饮食场所.2. The classification of restaurants follows the Hong Kong Standard Industrial Classification (HSIC), which is used in various economic surveys for classifying economic units into different industry classes. In this report, all restaurants in Hong Kong have been grouped into five broad types, including : (i) Chinese restaurants;

(ii) non-Chinese restaurants;

(iii) fast food shops;

(iv) bars;

and (v) other eating and drinking places. 3. 政府统计处在二??八?十月推?新的「香港标准?业分?2.0 版」后,「食肆的收入及购货额按季统计调查」已 作出改变,采用新?业分?编制食肆收益及购货额统计?字.由二??九?第一季起,除另有注明外,所有食肆收益及购货额统计?字均按「香港标准?业分?2.0 版」编制.3. Upon the implementation of the new HSIC Version 2.0 by the Census and Statistics Department in October 2008, the QSR has been enhanced to adopt the new classification in compiling the restaurant receipts and purchases statistics. Starting from the reference quarter of Q1 2009, all the restaurant receipts and purchases statistics, unless otherwise specified, are compiled based on the HSIC Version 2.0. -

According to the QSR, the value of total receipts of the restaurants sector was provisionally estimated at $19.9 billion in the first quarter of 2009, up by 1.5% when compared with the first quarter of 2008. Over the same period, the value of total purchases by restaurants was provisionally estimated at $6.9 billion, decreased by 2.9%. 5. 扣除价格变动的影响后,二??九?第一季与二??八?同期比较,食肆的总收益以??计下跌1.8%. 所用的物价平减指?是从综合消费物价指?内相关的项目选取.5. After discounting the effect of price changes, total restaurant receipts fell by 1.8% in volume in the first quarter of

2009 as compared to a year earlier. The relevant components of the Composite Consumer Price Index are used for this price adjustment. 6. 按食肆?别分析,快餐店於二? ?九?第一季的总收益以价值计较二? ?八?同期上升 2.4%,但以??计则下 跌1.5%. 6. Analysed by type of restaurant, total receipts of fast food shops increased by 2.4% in value but decreased by 1.5% in volume in the first quarter of

2009 as compared to a year earlier. 7. 同期间,中式餐馆的总收益以价 值计上升 2.0%,但以??计则下跌 1.3%.酒吧的总收益以价值计上升 0.6%,但以??计则下跌 2.6%. 7.
