In terms of Hong Kong urban life , there were many articles that analyze Hong Kong image from literature. For example , authors study Hong Kong during Japanese occupation from Zhang Ailing(张爱玲)'

s Xiaoshuo xianggang 小说香港(Fictions of Hong Kong) summarized the urban history hide in fiction and the interaction between fiction and Hong Kong. Zhao divides fiction about Hong Kong into three kinds : narrative from the colonizers, narrative from mainland Chinese, narrative from local people.3 Different narratives described different urban images. . During
1945 to 1949, Hong Kong local writers'
works were not apparent because their works focus on historical novels and dramas rather than writings about real urban life. On the contrary, Chinese left-wing writers paid much attention to Hong Kong daily life from microscopic view and macroscopic view. So, my study is only on Chinese writers'
