8 www.uts.com.cn FLOW CHART 1. Test for Pb, Hg, Cd and Sb Content Add suitable digestion acid in the digestion vessel. Transfer the digestive solution into a suitable volumetric flask. Analyze by ICP-OES. Weigh sample and place in a digestion vessel. Digest sample completely in microwave digestion oven. Make up with deionized water. 2. Test for Chromium(Ⅵ)Content Nonmetal Weigh sample in a flat-bottomed bottle. Add appropriate amount of digestion reagent and heating. Cool, filter then adjust the pH of the filtrate to 7.5±0.5. Add diphenyl-carbazide, and make up to the mark. Adjust the pH of the solution to 2.0±0.5. Measure the absorbance at 540nm by UV-Vis. Sample Material Digestion Acid Glass HNO3/HF Plastic H2SO4, H2O2, HNO3, HCl Others Any acid to total digestion. TEST REPORT No. : SH151000187C01 Report Date: 2015/10/27 Page

8 www.uts.com.cn Metal Pre-treatment of Sample: Clean the surface;
if there is oil layer or polymer coating on the surface, remove it. Configuration of test liquid. Dip one to five drops of test liquid to the surface. If there is hexavalent chromium, violet color will appear within several minutes. If the color appears after a long time, it will not be considered. If the test result is positive, it can be considered that there is hexavalent chromium. If the test result is negative. Wipe the surface of the coating lightly with fine sandpaper and dip test liquid. If the test result is positive, it can be considered that hexavalent chromium coating exists. If the test result is still negative. Wipe the coating more deeply and continue the test until it reaches the surface. If the test result is still negative, it can be considered that sample is below the detection limit. If you are not sure about the result of the point measurement, use the followin........
