1 Explanatory Note These Rules amend the Practising Certificate (Solicitors) Rules (Cap.

159 sub. leg. L) (principal Rules) to― (a) increase the fee payable for an application for a practising certificate for any practice year beginning on or after

1 January

2019 from $5,000 to $6,500;

and (b) stipulate a bilingual format for a practising certificate in Form

2 in the Schedule to the principal Rules, so that both English and Chinese versions can be printed on the same certificate. 注释 本规则修订 《执业证书 ( 律师 ) 规则》 ( 第159 章,附属法例 L) ( 《主体规则》 ),以―― (a) 将申请在
