1982 to 2002, the number of pigs slaughtered in Hong Kong decreased significantly by 37.6%, from 3.47 million heads in

1982 to 2.17 million heads in 2002. (Chart 2) 2.5 另一方面,猪只屠宰后所得的平均肉 量,在同期上升 40.0%.自一九九四年起, 上升的趋势更加明显,其原因可能是由於猪 只繁殖的方法有所改良,以及肉猪的屠宰量 有所增加所致.
