远洋船只 (ocean going vessel) 指―― (a) 持有获认可公约证明书的船只;

(b) 持有符合以下说明的证明书 ( 获认可公约证明书除 外)的船只―― (i) 由内地某政府当局发出;

及(ii) 准许该船只沿内地的海岸航行;

2018 B4167 owner (拥有人), in relation to a vessel, means― (a) the charterer of the vessel;

(b) the manager of the vessel;

or (c) the following person― (i) if the vessel is owned by a state and operated by a person registered in that state as the operator of the vessel―that person;

or (ii) in a case not falling within subparagraph (i)― any person registered as the owner of the vessel or, if no person is registered as the owner of the vessel, any person who owns the vessel;

river trade limits (内河航限) has the meaning given by section

2 of the Shipping and Port Control Ordinance (Cap. 313);

specified machinery (指明机械), in relation to a vessel, means the following machinery of the vessel― (a) the main engine;

(b) the auxiliary engine;

(c) the boiler;

and (d) the generator;

stay period (停留期间), in relation to a vessel, means a period― (a) beginning when the vessel enters the waters of Hong Kong and ending when the vessel exits those waters;

and (b) during which the vessel continuously stays in those waters;

vessel (船只) has the meaning given by section

2 of the Shipping and Port Control Ordinance (Cap. 313). (c) 符合以下说明的船只―― (i) 总吨位为

500 吨或以上;

及(ii) 持有由香港以外某地方的政府当局发出的、关 乎该船只的任何检验项目的证明书 ( 获认可公 约证明书或 (b) 段提述的证明书除外 ), 但不包括仅在内河航限内往来航行的船只;

拥有人 (owner) 就某船只而言,指―― (a) 该船只的承租人;

(b) 该船只的管理人;

或(c) 以下人士―― (i) 如该船只由某国家拥有,并由在该国家注册为 该船只的营运人的某人营运――该人;

或(ii) 如不属第 (i) 节所指的情况――注册为该船只 的拥有人的人,或(如无人注册为该船只的拥 有人 ) 拥有该船只的人;

获认可公约证明书 (accepted Convention certificate) 指符合经 不时修订的《1974 年国际海上人命安全公约》 ( 此为 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea,

1974 的译名 ) 所订明的格式的证明书;

转换不合规格燃料(fuel switch operation to non-compliant fuel) 指以下操作:将船只使用的燃料,由合规格燃料转 为不合规格燃料;

转换合规格燃料 (fuel switch operation to compliant fuel) 指以 下操作:将船只使用的燃料,由不合规格燃料转为合规 格燃料. 第1部第3条Part 1? Section

2018 B4169 3. Application This Regulation does not apply to― (a) a warship or any other vessel on military service;

or (b) a vessel if― (i) the vessel enters the waters of Hong Kong solely for one or more of the following purposes― (A) reducing risks to the safety of the vessel;

(B) sheltering from stress of weather;

(C) landing a sick or injured person;

(ii) the owner or the master of the vessel has notified the Director of Marine of the purpose referred to in subparagraph (i) before the vessel enters those waters;
