2 LearningGuideforCorporateSustainability 「企业可持续发展」 学习指南 Foreword 前言 Foreword 前言 The Corporate Sustainability for Schools (CS4Schools) Programme has been a marvelous exchange platform allowing corporations to explain how they approach the protection of the environment and their contribution to the community, while they continue to run professional and profitable businesses. We have had a lot of fun and travelled a wonderful learning journey with the business leaders from

15 participating corporations and the students from

53 schools. This has been a two-way dialogue appreciated by both groups and with valuable lessons for all about the importance of corporate sustainability in our modern society. CS4Schools would not have been possible without the tremendous support from the Council for Sustainable Development. We are grateful for the financial support from its Sustainable Development Fund as well as the administrative support from its secretariat, the Sustainable Development Division. CS4Schools also would not have been successful without the enthusiastic contribution and engagement of the corporate partners and participating schools. We have prepared this Learning Guide as both an aide memoir and a reference tool for the liberal studies in relation to sustainable development. I hope you find this of interest and encourage you to share it with your peers. The Business Environment Council will continue to provide a platform for exchange between business and the broader community, and we hope that we will be able to enhance the CS4Schools as one of the pillars of BEC'
