(左起) 理大康复治疗科学系系主任陈智轩教授、医疗及社会科学院院长胡志城教授、校长唐伟章教授、 陈瑞球博士、儿子陈永昌先生及陈永明先生. 理大日前举行「陈瑞球林满珍伉俪粤港运动 康复中心」命名典礼,以答谢陈博士及夫人 的慷慨捐助,为香港及国家运动员提供先进 的复康服务. 该中心是一个服务及培训中心,致力为顶尖 的国家及香港运动员保持竞争力.此外,中 心亦会进一步发展与复康相关的教学与研究 工作. The University has named its newly- opened Centre for Sports Rehabilitation in Guangzhou after Dr Chan Sui-kau and his wife Lam Moon Chun, whose generous donation will help provide innovative rehabilitation services for local and national athletes. The Chan Sui Kau and Chan Lam Moon Chun Centre for Sports Rehabilitation is a service and training hub for sustaining the competitiveness of top athletes in the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong. It will also undertake research projects. Dr Chan, a prominent philanthropist, is the founder of Yangtzekiang Garment and the YGM Group. His family has a long affiliation with the University and he was a founding member of PolyU Court. Dr Chan was among the four recipients of the Grand Bauhinia Medal, Hong Kong's highest honour, last year. In 2002, a campus building was named after his brother, the late Mr Chan Sui-wai, in recognition of his generous donation of $15 million from the Chan Family Charity Trust to support the University's development. 陈瑞球博士是著名慈善家,亦是长江制衣有 限公司及YGM集团的创办人.陈博士家族与 理大渊源深厚,他更是理大顾问委员会的创 会成员.陈博士去年获颁授香港特区至高荣 誉的大紫荆煺. 二零零二年,理大将校园内一栋大楼以陈博 士已故兄长命名为「陈瑞槐楼」,藉以答谢 以陈博士为首的陈氏家族慷慨捐赠一千五百 万港元作为大学的发展经费.
