Wah Chairman Honoured 「膝关节康复专科中心」以吕志和伉俪命名 The University has set up the Commercial Radio 50th Anniversary Scholarship with a donation of $5 million from Mr George Ho, founder of Commercial Radio Hong Kong. The donation, made through The Jessie & George Ho Charitable Foundation, will help outstanding students as well as those from less affluent areas on the Chinese mainland who have financial difficulties in pursuing studies at PolyU. "Mr Ho has set an excellent example as a staunch supporter of PolyU. The University has named its Centre for the Knee after Dr Lui Chee Woo, Chairman of K. Wah Group of companies, and his wife, whose generous donation will help provide innovative rehabilitation services for Hong Kong's elderly with knee problems and national athletes on the Chinese mainland. Dr Lui and Mrs Lui Chiu Kam-ping are ardent supporters of medical services and higher education in Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland. Dr Lui donated $30 million to PolyU last year and a campus building was named after him. The Dr and Mrs Lui Che Woo Centre for the Knee will build on existing physiotherapy technologies to prevent and alleviate common knee problems, as well as undertake research projects. The Centre offers on-site, tele-rehabilitation and monitoring services, which are expected to be extended to China's national athletes participating in the
